Long Time Away

Oh, how the time stretches! I had no idea it'd been so long since my last entry. It appears that I have become a blogging fossil. If anyone still reads this, I'd like to say that I'm settling into my new job well thus far, and feel like I can go back to life as normal after the transition. I get home significantly later now, so that means less time for sewing, but I will make time, gosh darn it.

I've also been focusing a lot on my renaissance guitaring rather than my costuming, which my instructor no doubt appreciates. I wonder which my hubby prefers--annoying scale exercises over and over and over or my sewing spore that takes over the whole apt?

Anyway, this is a heads up to look for progress in my flemish gown diary, as Beth and I have decided we should try to finish them before our Oct 1 Ren Fest trip. No promises, but I'm gonna try my darndest. ;)
